The University of Minnesota, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition located in Minneapolis is seeking a Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist to become an integral team member within an academic division dedicated to cutting-edge and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have an interest in advancing our hepatology and transplant hepatology programs.
The Gastroenterology Division hosts expanding clinical and research programs in IBD, esophageal disorders, complex polypectomy, AI in endoscopy, and functional GI diseases. The transplant hepatology section has one of the longest-standing liver transplant programs in the U.S. The division also features a nationally-recognized Advanced Endoscopy Section for ERCP, EUS, and complex pancreas/biliary disorders. The division strives for excellence in patient services, teaching, and research.
Providers practice under the University of Minnesota Health (M Health) system, a collaboration between University of Minnesota Physicians, Medical Center, and Fairview Health Services, aiming to deliver top-tier clinical care, research, and education.
The salary begins at $55,000 and is dependent on academic effort. Clinical salary is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians, with competitive total compensation based on AAMC benchmarks. Applicants should submit applications to both the University and M Physicians.
