The clinical duties for this position will involve both General andTransplant; inpatient and outpatient clinical care at theUniversity of Minnesota Medical Center-Fairview. The allocationbetween General and Transplant will be determined based onexperience and expertise of the individual candidate, in additionto the division’s current need. These clinical duties includestaffing Eastbank and Westbank consult services and seeingoutpatients referred to the Infectious Diseases clinic. Otherduties may involve staffing the inpatient telemedicine generalinfectious disease consult service, and staffing the antibioticmanagement team services.
Educational responsibilities will include teaching students andresidents who rotate on the infectious diseases consult service andmay include staffing the infectious diseases fellows' clinic. Thereis also the opportunity to establish and/or collaborate on clinicalresearch studies in an intellectually exciting environment.
Required Qualifications: (Must be documented on all applicationmaterials)
Pay Range: This role is dually employed by the University ofMinnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at theUniversity of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of theperson hired, and begins at $55,000. Total combined salary isanticipated to be in the range of $170,000 to $205,000. Clinicalsalary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided throughUniversity of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary is competitivewith the market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
