Job summary

Newark Academy is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director of Advancement - Student & Alumni Engagement to orchestrate career-oriented offerings. The role focuses on guidance and networking to support young alumni and Upper School students.

The ideal candidate should possess strong project management and interpersonal skills, and will collaborate closely with various stakeholders. Salary range is $65,000-$75,000. Full benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3 years of career counseling experience with students or young professionals.
• Experience in independent schools or higher education.
• Genuine team orientation and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and steward connections for career-oriented experiences.
• Initiate outreach to expand the internship opportunity network.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create content for materials.

Highly organized

Fluency with CRM and career platforms

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Master’s degree (a plus)
