Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking an Assistant Armorer in the United States, Virginia Beach, VA. The role requires knowledge of operation, disassembly/reassembly procedures and troubleshooting of Combat Weapons Systems (CWS) and related weapons accessories.

Responsibilities include assisting with assessments and required repairs to CWS, including depot-level repairs, and supporting CWS inventory, storage, receipt, and movements to meet safety and security regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing small arms.
• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
• Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course upon soonest available opening.
• Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Have thorough knowledge of the principles of operation, disassembly/reassembly procedures and troubleshooting of NSW and SOCOM specific weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) and weapon accessories from here to be referred to as Combat Weapons Systems (CWS).
• Assist with conducting assessments and required repairs to all CWS to include depot-level repairs to applicable systems.
• Assists in CWS inventory, storage, receipt, issue, and movements to meet all security and safety regulations.
• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
• Must be prepared to complete the Naval Special Warfare
• Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course upon soonest available opening.
• Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs.
• 3+ years’ experience repairing small arms.
