Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. seeks an Assistant Area Director to provide direct supervision of Program Directors at assigned facilities and ensure contract compliance and program fidelity.

You will maintain ongoing DOC interactions and deliver service that meets contract terms. You will conduct site visits, monitor operations, staff morale, and develop corrective action plans in collaboration with the VA HR Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Social Sciences/Criminal Justice required.
• Master’s Degree preferred in Human Services/Social Sciences/Criminal Justice field.
• Virginia CSAC credentials must be earned within 2 years of employment as a condition of employment.
• Must maintain CSAC certification in good standing while employed.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct supervision to Program Directors at assigned facilities including monthly on-site supervision of program operations to ensure contract compliance and fidelity.
• Maintaining ongoing interaction with DOC officials regarding contract compliance, performance, and service delivery.
• Serving as a liaison to DOC ensuring outstanding customer service to meet specifications and contract terms.
• Conducting site visits and monitoring program utilization, operations, staffing and morale; developing QA/corrective action plans.
