Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. seeks an Assistant Area Director to supervise Program Directors across Virginia facilities, ensuring contract compliance and high-quality service. You will coordinate with DOC officials, monitor operations, and drive program fidelity with monthly site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred in related field.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment and programs for criminal justice populations.
• 3+ years of management or supervision experience.
• Virginia CSAC credentials must be earned within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to Program Directors at assigned facilities, including monthly on-site oversight.
• Maintain ongoing interaction with DOC officials regarding contract compliance and service delivery.
• Serve as liaison to DOC to ensure customer service aligns with specifications and contract terms.
• Conduct regular site visits, monitor utilization, staffing, morale, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Review HR corrective actions and employment decisions at designated sites.
• Oversee implementation of new programs/services; assume Program Director duties as needed.
• Conduct staff training and in-services to ensure quality services at all sites.
• Meet monthly with DOC management to ensure satisfaction and timely communication.
• Ensure cost-effective use of program resources, reviewing expenses and reimbursements.
• Assist Program Directors in developing annual training and supervision plans.
• Participate in training to maintain licensure/certification and knowledge of best practices.
