Based in Page County Technical Center – Luray, Virginia, this role supports academic and social progress of students in alternative education settings. The successful candidate provides academic assistance, computer lab support, and meets other needs of students to ensure successful academic and social progress.
Teaching assistants work closely with school staff to ensure individual student progress. Assistants must have experience in using computers, iPads, and other technology devices typically used for instruction. The successful candidate must be willing to attend professional development in instructional methods and behavior management techniques proven to assist in student success. Note: this position may encounter students with emotional, social, and/or behavioral challenges.
Experience using computers and technology devices (e.g., iPads) for instruction.

Position Type: Classified Contract
Salary: $21,255 Per Year
