The Williams College Economics Department invites applications for one open-rank (tenured or tenure-track) position in macroeconomics, to begin July 1, 2027. We are seeking candidates whose research and teaching interests are concentrated in policy-relevant macroeconomics, including monetary, fiscal, or other forms of stabilization policy in advanced or emerging economies. Candidates are expected to contribute to both our undergraduate program and our Master's in Policy Economics program at the Center for Development Economics.

We are a department of active scholars (http://econ.williams.edu/) and currently have 25 tenured or tenure-track faculty members. The teaching load is two courses per semester.
