Job summary

South Shore Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Assistant Administrator to support the LNHA in all business activities at our Chicago-area facility.

Requirements include an Illinois LNHA license (or willingness to obtain), a bachelor’s degree in NH administration or related field, and experience in long-term care, with solid finance, regulatory knowledge, and strong leadership. We offer full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing home administration or a related field.
• Current Illinois LNHA license (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in the long-term care industry.
• Basic finance and accounting knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
• Commitment to team-oriented outcomes and quality care.
• Effective communication and leadership to foster relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, governmental agencies, and the community.
• Ability to implement facility and company philosophy of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall operation of the facility in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ensure compliance with the standards of practice for skilled nursing and long-term care.
• Gain proficiency in all facility departments to enhance operations and patient care.
• Support the LNHA in strategic planning, policy implementation, and staff development.
• Help oversee daily operations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
