Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly consolidated financial reports under the Manager's direction.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable using the accounting system.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements based on US GAAP.

Location: Schaumburg, IL--> Office/Hybrid – IL (Office for 5 days from Mon to Fri for first 3 months, then Hybrid)

Wage: $35~$40/hour

FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non Exempt

Report to: Manager

Hours: 9 am to 5pm (1hour unpaid break) with overtime

Start: ASAP

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager, Assistant Manager will work as part of a team to prepare quarterly consolidated financial reports. Assistant Manager will also be responsible for daily accounting tasks (recording sales and purchases, managing accounts receivable and payable, etc.) using our accounting system.

Performance Requirements:

・Recording Sales & Purchases, Creating vouchers and Managing Accounts Receivable & Payable with utilizing our accounting system

・Preparing monthly performance reports (Stand-alone & Consolidated)

・Collecting financial data from our subsidiaries and Preparing adjustment entries for the closing

・Preparing consolidated financial report packages for our parent company based on IFRS

・Preparing consolidated financial statements based on US GAAP

・Responding to audits by our auditors (collecting supporting documents & answering questions by auditors

・Performing other duties assigned by manager

Minimum Experience & Skill:

・Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

・ More than 5 years of experience in accounting work

・ Experience in consolidated accounting work

・Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

・ Excellent verbal and written skills

・ Works well independently and with a team

Preferred Experience & Skill:

・Experience in accounting using IFRS

・ Experience working at a listed company

・ Knowledge of importing and exporting practice

Educational Requirements:

・Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
