Job description

The Assistant Account Executive (AAE) will execute daily tasks in support of the Account Team.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as liaison to Internal Operations Department and coordinate/execute creative production activities and projects.
• Assist the Account Team with various client, budget-management and financials projects.
• All other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Some degree of advertising agency experience is necessary as the job requires a high level of understanding of advertising principles and agency functions.
• The position will require the AAE to build solid relations with other agency departments. (Creative, Media Traffic, Planning and Finance) to help facilitate efficient day-to-day internal operations.
• Some client contact will be involved, and an understanding of the Client’s business is essential; the AAE will be required to forge positive relationships with Clients through diligent client service.
• Knowledge of integrated communications (Interactive, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, Lifestyle Marketing, Collateral, Merchandising and Direct Marketing) is a plus; prior experience in retail advertising and/or the automotive category is a plus, but not required.
• Willing to work overtime, including evenings, and/or weekend work.
• The AAE position will require extensive proficiency in the use of computers and specific software.
• Implementing and finding new ways to leverage AI in daily workflows is expected.
• Strong focus on accuracy, attention-to-detail, and timeliness is a must.
• Must be able to respond well under pressure.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills are essential.
• Adept ability to keep supervisors properly informed.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills:
• A keen ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working at an expedient pace.
