Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience preferred.
• Familiarity with constitutional and administrative law, civil and appellate procedure, and trial practice.
• Strong legal writing skills and ability to handle litigation independently.
• Demonstrated public service interest and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Represent state officials and agencies in appeals and litigation in state and federal courts.
• Defend constitutional and other challenges to state statutes and regulations.
• Support litigation strategy in both trial and appellate courts.
