Job summary

Acro Service Corp is hiring Field Research Assistants for seasonal fall fieldwork. This is a short-term, direct-hire contract.

You will assist with field sampling, hand harvesting, sorting, scanning, weighing, inventory, and general field/facility support.

Candidates should be physically fit, comfortable outdoors in heat and varying weather, able to work independently or in a team, and possess basic computer or iPad skills.

Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Able to walk on uneven ground and hand-harvest corn
• Comfortable working in heat, mud, dust, rain, and varying weather conditions
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions
• Basic computer/iPad skills
• Able to work well independently and with a team
• Previous agricultural experience is a plus
