Who We Look For

Within Public Investing's Fixed Income and Liquidity Solutions, which manages over $1.7 trillion in assets, you will develop the Portfolio Construction platform. This platform includes components like Order orchestration, lifecycle management, risk management, and trading, providing automation and scale to manage over 60,000 client portfolios. You will work directly with Portfolio Managers and Traders, involved in requirements gathering, development, and deployment of new features.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For

• Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field
• 3+ years of Java/Scala development experience and knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and testing
• Experience building scalable, distributed platforms (AWS cloud experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of SQL dialects
• Self-motivated with an analytical mindset, capable of multi-tasking under pressure
• Experience through all development lifecycle stages: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, deployment
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data-intensive applications and batch processing
• Experience with AWS Cloud technologies
• Comfortable in a dynamic, agile development environment
• Knowledge of the financial or banking industry
• Technologies & tools: Java/Scala, Web/RESTful services, HTML5, JavaScript/Angular, JSON, SQL, testing and build tools
