Role Overview

Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) within Goldman Sachs Asset Management designs and develops tailored investment management solutions using proprietary research and multi-asset analytics. The successful candidate will join the Retirement Planning and Advice Investment Product Team within MAS, focusing on developing personalized retirement glidepaths, portfolios, and income plans, especially leveraging capabilities from the 2022 acquisition of NextCapital. The role involves leading the development of new investment features, overseeing investment methodology, and representing these with clients, prospects, and advisors.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead in determining and managing investment feature and methodology enhancements.
• Represent the investment team in discussions with clients, prospects, and external parties regarding Retirement Planning and Advice services.
• Own feature and methodology design, including governance and approval processes.
• Develop client-facing methodology and investment documents.
• Manage projects and roadmaps in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Review investment fund exposures and portfolios as needed.
• Review recurring investment deliverables for clients and prospects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Defined Contribution, Retirement, or Digital Financial Planning.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent investment acumen and quantitative skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with multi-asset portfolio construction.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Experience presenting to Investment Committees is a plus.
• Product management and/or client portfolio management experience is a plus.
• Experience with IRAs and alternative investments is a plus.
