Job summary

FlexSteel is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Hobbs, NM to manage assets, inventory and related logistics. You will perform maintenance and housekeeping, assist with materials receipt and inspection, and ensure safe, accurate operations on site.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in warehousing or manufacturing, an Associate degree or equivalent, forklift certification, and strong English communication. Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to travel to remote locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse/manufacturing/construction experience with average 3+ years.
• Forklift and general construction equipment experience; forklift certification preferred.
• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Fluent English in writing and speaking; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety values and culture; lead safety audits and meetings.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance to equipment on site and in warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; pass safety and warehouse audits.
• Assist with receipt and inspection of materials on arrival; ensure quantities align with POs.
• Handle, store, and preserve materials per procedures; ensure assets and tools are available.
• Ensure correct receipt, issue, and restock of parts in the system.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; monitor fast-moving and long-lead items.
• Create requisitions, RFQs, and receipts; process delivery tickets when needed.
• Carry out daily forklift inspections and maintenance; support logistics issues.
• Support staff to solve material and logistic problems; dispose of assets per policy.
