Job summary

FlexSteel is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Cheyenne, WY to manage assets, inventory, and warehouse operations. The role focuses on maintaining safe, organized facilities and ensuring timely receipt, storage, and issue of parts to support field services.

You will work with a small team to perform inspections, conduct audits, and optimize stock levels while complying with safety protocols. Local candidates with forklift experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse/manufacturing/construction experience with average 3+ years.
• Licensure and/or experience in forklift operation as necessary.
• CDL class A is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; 3 years experience acceptable in lieu of education.
• Able to speak fluent English; bilingual a plus.
• Strong organizational and people skills; safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety values and culture, identify and mitigate risks, follow procedures, and participate in safety meetings.
• Perform planned and unplanned repairs and maintenance to equipment on site and in a warehouse setting.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety, pass safety and warehouse audits.
• Support receipt and inspection of materials and ensure integrity and quantities per plans and orders.
• Handle, store, and preserve materials per HSEQ and project guidelines.
• Maintain all assets, tools, and inventory to meet customer service expectations.
• Ensure correct receipt, issue, and restock of all parts in Visual.
• Identify and solve material and logistic problems within the organization.
• Maintain full inventory with focus on fast-moving items.
• Report accurately for end-of-year/month counts; reconcile inventories.
• Manage storage of spare parts and consumables; ensure proper ordering and accountability.
• Review orders/transfers to ensure correct part numbers before shipment.
• Dispose of assets per policies and laws; support Delivery Tickets.
