Job summary

D.A. Davidson & Co.’s Managed Assets Research Department supports advisors and clients with mutual funds, ETFs, and SMA investment solutions. The role focuses on research, communications, and portfolio review support to deliver high-quality investment insights.

Ideal candidates have a finance-related degree, strong writing skills, and 2+ years in financial services; Series 7/65/66 or willingness to obtain is required, with CFA/CAIA pursued positively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, marketing or related field required.
• Series 7 & 65/66, or willingness to obtain.
• Pursuit of CFA or CAIA charter also viewed positively.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferably with financial advisors.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide research and marketing support to the department’s director and team.
• Assist in developing the research team’s communications process and procedures.
• Proofreading/editing text, creating charts & tables, distributing presentations and reports.
• Maintain investment reports and note templates; manage intranet and databases.
• Support client portfolio reviews and proposals using asset allocation portfolios.
