Job summary

Ingredion in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Planning Manager to lead planning, scheduling, backlog management, and cost control for our maintenance work. You will own the CMMS/SAP-PM system, ensure resources are properly allocated, and coordinate across maintenance, operations, and supply chain to maximize asset availability.

The role reports to the Senior Manager of Maintenance, Reliability, & Utilities and oversees a team of 9.

Qualifications

6–10 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or related industrial environments.
3–5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance planning and scheduling functions.
Strong experience with CMMS/SAP-PM systems, maintenance planning, scheduling, and backlog management.

Responsibilities

Lead and optimize the maintenance work management system, including planning, scheduling, backlog, and notification processes.
Drive planning and scheduling discipline to prioritize and fully resource maintenance schedules.
Govern CMMS/SAP-PM standards and ensure accuracy of work orders, history, resources, and cost tracking.
Manage maintenance backlogs and prioritize work based on asset criticality and risk.
Own maintenance cost control, forecasting, budgeting, and effective utilization of labor and materials.
Coordinate maintenance, operations, reliability, and supply chain teams to support execution of work plans.
Develop planner and scheduler capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
