Job summary

The Special Assets Representative will join a leading Credit Union on a long-term temporary basis (approximately 6 months). The role focuses on effectively working delinquent loan accounts, overdrawn accounts, repossessions, asset recoveries and bankruptcies to achieve the best outcome for both parties.

Wage is $22.94/hour. Requirements include at least one year in financial services with frontline or lending experience, plus excellent computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year financial industry experience including frontline or lending.
• Prior collections experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections queues by taking initial foreclosure action, completing bankruptcy filings, issuing repossession and monitoring asset liquidation.
• Provide asset recoveries by completing necessary legal work and referring accounts to outside collections.
• Deliver exceptional member service while discussing sensitive financial circumstances.
• Work delinquent loan accounts, overdrawn accounts, repossessions, and bankruptcies to achieve favorable outcomes.
