Job summary

Qualifications

• Paralegal studies degree or equivalent; ABA-approved certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years paralegal or legal support in financial institutions, law firms, or asset recovery.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy law and proceedings (Ch. 7/11/13), including proof of claim filings.
• Experience coordinating with outside counsel and managing legal files across multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Track bankruptcy matters and monitor court dockets, deadlines, and plan confirmations.
• Assist with preparation, review, and filing of proofs of claim and notices.
• Coordinate with outside bankruptcy counsel and assist with litigation support and document management.
• Process payments and collections-related transactions, and post-claim reconciliations.
• Generate and maintain documentation for probate and asset recovery matters.
