Meijer Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Supervisor for Port Huron, MI. This role leads the Asset Protection team, enforces loss-prevention measures, and collaborates with store leadership to maintain a secure, compliant environment.

You will conduct investigations, drive safety initiatives, and ensure proper security measures are in place. Prior retail and supervisory experience are preferred, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned feel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail experience and supervisory exposure are preferred.
• Strong investigative skills and understanding of shrink prevention and security concepts are required.
• Ability to analyze financial reports (P/L, risk assessments) and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead Asset Protection team, including hiring, performance reviews, scheduling, and overall performance alignment to company programs.
• Investigate internal/external losses and deter theft through training and consistent follow-up with leadership.
• Participate in store Safety Committee and uphold 200% safety accountability expectations.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions for unsafe conditions or behavior.
• Ensure security systems, key controls, and staff training responsibilities are maintained.
• Review financial reports and partner with leadership to resolve issues and implement shrink plans.
• Perform pre/post inventory analyses and participate in store meetings and orientation.
