Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Asset Protection Solution Officer for our distribution center. You will monitor access and activity to safeguard assets, respond to incidents, and generate incident reports.

You’ll work within a climate-controlled facility and support safety and security operations for staff and assets. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, experience in security or operations, and are willing to be trained in First Aid and AED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience identifying issues and solving operational problems.
• Strong time management with multiple projects.
• Willing to be trained in First Aid and AED usage.
• Basic Word skills: formatting, editing and reviewing.
• Basic Excel skills: formatting, calculations, printing.
• Experience writing formal correspondence and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor foot and vehicle traffic to protect company assets.
• Identify and report security and safety risks in secured areas.
• Operate asset protection systems and facility devices.
• Act as first responder in incidents and provide basic first aid.
• Develop knowledge of facility operations and policies.
• Conduct audits and report discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed incident reports on loss and safety matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical handling of information.
• Support investigations into profit loss or policy violations.
