Lowe’s is seeking an Asset Protection Agent in Seattle to safeguard store assets and support teams through training and investigations. You will deter external theft, monitor activities, and coordinate with leadership to address exposures.

The role requires readiness for varied shifts and compliance with policies and local laws. The position emphasizes teamwork, security system familiarity, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents while maintaining customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Psychology or Criminal Justice OR High School Diploma/equivalent with 1 year relevant work experience.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons and evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and training Store Associates and Leaders on identifying and deterring external theft through shrink programs.
• Monitoring merchandise, customer, and associate activity; reporting infractions to Store and AP Leadership.
• Preventing inventory shrinkage and deterring criminal activity.
• Coordinate with Senior APM, DAPM and MORCM to identify key merchandise and stores affected externally.
• Leverage data/resources to create plans addressing external exposures with training and external focus.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to criminal activity per laws or company policy.
• Support investigations of company policies when required.
• Respond to potentially violent incidents with composure and quick decision-making.
