Position Purpose:

The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). Responsibilities include:

1. Using tools to minimize loss, such as identifying theft and fraud incidents, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture.
2. Preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
3. Reporting hazards, minimizing injury risks, demonstrating integrity, addressing operational concerns, and supporting store business objectives while maintaining asset protection responsibilities.
