Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of security, asset protection, risk management, or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel in particular.
• Able to work weekends or overnight shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work independently with off-site supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Analytical experience with performance-based, results-oriented tasks.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate security screening for all entrants and exiting personnel.
• Complete key and badge requests to LP leadership or supervisor.
• Assign access with proper approvals.
• Escalate critical incidents to partners (LP leadership, Operations, HR, Safety, etc.).
• Maintain access controls and security tools (keys, badges, etc.).
• Respond to and assist with unlocking doors and escorting associates.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols for theft or unsafe behavior; escalate as needed.
• Utilize CCTV to gather facts and aid investigations.
• Respond to alarms and security incidents as directed.
• Ensure only authorized persons and vehicles enter/exit the property.
• Complete security/safety reports and audits as directed.
• Assist with investigations of theft or fraud and conduct interviews.
• Promote best security practices and liaison with facility management.
• Partner with leadership to evaluate current and future security processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
