Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to help maintain a safe, secure store environment and support safety initiatives. You will investigate incidents and partner with leadership to reduce shrink and promote operational excellence.

You’ll work with the Asset Protection Manager and store teams, applying surveillance and reporting tools to drive security metrics and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and basic computer skills (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Support investigations by gathering data, conducting checks, and responding to alarms.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and other reporting tools.
• Complete accurate incident, investigation, and security metric reports.
• Assist in training store teams and coordinating with law enforcement.
