Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Asset Protection Officer for the second shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) in a full-time role. The position requires experience with OSHA, EPA, FDA regulations and enforcing regulatory/environmental compliance.

You will conduct hazardous evacuation drills and be accountable for 200% safety for self and others. Experience in Loss Prevention, Security or a military background is beneficial; strong communication and compliance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge to meet compliance requirements of Federal and State policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Flexibility in performing assigned shift work.
• Conducts internal/external theft investigations.
• Ability to lead and teach classes related to safety, orientation, evacuation and powered equipment operation.
