Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking an Asset Protection professional to support security efforts, conduct theft investigations, and lead safety trainings.

You will manage access control, respond to emergencies, and document Protective Services activities, contributing to a safe store environment. The role requires experience in loss prevention or security, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead safety classes and evacuation procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in Loss Prevention, Security or Military background is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge to meet compliance requirements of Federal and State policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Flexibility in performing assigned shift work.
• Conducts internal/external theft investigations.
• Ability to lead and teach classes related to safety, orientation, evacuation and powered equipment operation.

Responsibilities
