Job summary

Sephora in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Asset Protection Partner to safeguard assets and support a safe, inclusive environment for clients and employees. You will collaborate with store leaders to implement safety and shrink strategies, monitor activity, and handle incidents with professionalism.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail operations, the ability to work 30–40 hours weekly (full time), and lifting up to 50 lbs. Availability during peak retail hours is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
• Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
• Conflict de-escalation skills.
• Comfortable with CCTV and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety & awareness; lead meetings and training.
• Maintain strong store presence; 75-80% on selling floor.
• Partner with leadership; align shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
• Monitor & investigate losses using CCTV and reporting tools.
• Incident response; de-escalate situations professionally.
• Execute audits and reporting; prepare reports.
• Compliance with policies and licensing.
• Support multiple locations as needed.
• Represent Sephora; testify in court if required.
