Job summary

The Brobston Group is seeking an Asset Protection Supervisor to safeguard assets, personnel and customers at a Meatpacking boutique. You will supervise and develop asset protection associates and partner with store leadership to maintain a safe, compliant, and positive customer experience.

Key duties include coaching and scheduling the team, conducting audits and investigations, monitoring loss prevention reports, and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of asset protection, retail, or managerial experience preferred.
• New York City security license and 8-hour pre-assignment and 16-hour on-the-job training certificates.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, operate required equipment, and lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, schedule, and supervise asset protection associates; delegate daily assignments and review work.
• Conduct audits, inspections, security walks, and investigations; maintain accurate records and asset protection documentation.
• Monitor policy and point-of-sale compliance, review reports and safe logs, and report incidents, theft, and operational risks.
• Control access, maintain security equipment, supervise off-site sales, and coordinate with store management and law enforcement as needed.
