Job summary

The Brobston Group is seeking an Asset Protection Practitioner to safeguard people and assets while supporting shortage reduction and safety initiatives. The role uses investigative skills, data, and collaboration with store teams to maintain a compliant environment.

You will build partnerships with colleagues, leadership, corporate teams, and external partners, and help train staff on theft mitigation and safety. Flexibility to work with changing priorities is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
• Working knowledge of alarms, EAS, CCTV, and lock and key.
• Ability to work with all levels of management, adapt to changing priorities, and work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods, occasionally stand and walk, and lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support asset protection efforts, shortage reduction, and store compliance with protection plans and programs.
• Build partnerships with store colleagues, leadership, corporate teams, law enforcement, mall management, and legal counsel.
• Facilitate training and awareness related to theft mitigation, operational compliance, and safety.
• Use reporting and data to support shortage control and theft mitigation efforts.
• Promote compliance with policies and processes, and improve store safety, shortage, and audit metrics.
