Job summary

Five Below is seeking a seasoned Loss Prevention Leader to safeguard customers and associates across our stores. After training, you will conduct external and internal investigations, de-escalate hostile incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement while upholding all company standards.

You will lead AP training, oversee audits, participate in district visits, and advise on safety, ethics, and workplace violence.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in a physical security & safety environment.
• Experience in training and coaching.
• AA or BA Degree a plus.
• Communication skills & ability to influence.
• Knowledge of investigative processes.
• CCTV system use and knowledge.
• Experience with safety in retail establishments.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for customers and associates.
• Support Store and Field Management in dealing with aggressive or hostile behavior, using de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct external & internal investigations with regards to theft/fraud after training and certification.
• Utilize AP systems and report on security metrics.
• Liaise with law enforcement and government agencies on cases and compliance.
• Lead AP training and safety initiatives within the facility.
• Supervise security personnel as needed.
• Perform monthly Operational Assessments and audit follow-ups.
