Job summary

Five Below is looking for a Security professional to protect customers and team members, investigate theft and safety incidents, and collaborate with store leadership on loss prevention initiatives. The role requires experience in retail security, de-escalation, and reporting through AP and law enforcement liaison.

Training will be provided where needed. Applicants should bring strong communication, investigative skills, and the ability to lead safety programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining safe and secure environments for customers and associates.
• Ability to conduct external & internal investigations with regards to theft/fraud.
• Experience with safety in retail establishments and de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for customers and associates.
• Support Store and Field Management in handling aggressive or hostile behavior.
• Conduct investigations related to theft/fraud after training and certification.
• Lead safety training and AP awareness initiatives.
• Report audit findings and follow up on non-compliant controls.
