Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue, a LVMH-backed luxury retailer, seeks an Asset Protection Associate to monitor shortages, oversee inventory integrity, and implement store safety programs under the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations. The role focuses on training, investigations, and prevention strategies at a Saks location.

Requirements include 2 years in asset protection within a large retail environment, relevant certifications, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;

• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness.

You Will Be

Under the direction from the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, the Asset Protection Associate monitors shortage results, shortage control, investigations and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft, and implementation of store safety and awareness programs at an individual Saks Fifth Avenue location.

What You Will Do

• Be responsible for training store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures. Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis.
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness.
• Ad hoc responsibilities

Salary And Other Benefits

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $21.53- $26.91per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Salary Range $20.19 - $22.60*
