Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Asset Protection team member to safeguard customers, associates, and store assets across our Michigan locations. You will visually inspect property, conduct backroom and floor walk-throughs, review exception and theft reports, and assist in apprehension and investigations with accurate documentation.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months' security experience (or 1 year of work experience).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months security experience or 1 year general work experience.
• Experience with incident documentation and reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects building exterior/parking areas for hazards.
• Conducts backroom and sales floor walk-throughs.
• Reviews cashier exception and theft reports.
• Conducts internal and shoplifting surveillance and assists in investigations.
