Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Director, Asset Protection Operations & Execution (APD) to develop and execute the asset protection plan, talent, and budgets. Drives loss mitigation, safety, and profitability across the enterprise, partnering with leadership to align programs with company strategy and comprehensive loss reduction goals.

The role leads strategic initiatives, oversees performance, and communicates learnings across all levels to foster a cohesive loss-mitigation culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field OR Associate's degree with loss prevention/asset protection experience OR High School diploma with 7+ years in loss prevention/asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate ROI of loss control processes and drive solutions across teams.
• Lead hiring, performance and travel-based coaching to build team capability.
• Approve capital expenditures for security equipment and budget allocations.
• Address pharmacy theft, fraud, and HIPAA risk through proper strategies and compliance.
• Foster relationships with government agencies and law enforcement; coordinate with partnerships across org.
