Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect building exterior and parking lot to mitigate hazards.
• Conduct walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Review cashier exception reports.
• Conduct internal theft surveillance.
• Review theft activity reports and follow up as necessary.
• Conduct shoplifting surveillance.
• Report safety hazards to Store Leadership for action.
• Test and inspect camera equipment for proper operation.
• Review alarm system activity and respond to suspicious events.
• Participate in apprehension of individuals violating the law and assist in prosecutions.
• Maintain extensive documentation and write incident reports for potential litigation.
• Testify in criminal or civil court proceedings.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
