Job summary

Wal-Mart Stores East, LP in Napoleon, OH is seeking an Asset Protection Supervisor to lead store teams, drive loss prevention, and safeguard merchandise while ensuring excellent customer service.

The role focuses on supervising multi‑department teams, enforcing policies, and implementing corrective actions to reduce shrink. A minimum of two years of college is required with relevant leadership and asset protection experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 years of college.
• 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi‑department environment.
• 1 year’s experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi department environment.
• 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
• Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection.
• If applicable, acquisition of a current, state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
• If applicable, successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training and feedback to associates.
• Oversee store operations including inventory control and loss prevention.
• Investigate and resolve safety, security and policy violations.
• Communicate with managers and associates to implement corrective actions and improvements.
• Train and mentor associates to meet staffing and performance goals.
