Living Spaces seeks an Asset Protection Associate to secure premises and personnel across distribution center and retail locations. Responsibilities include patrolling, reporting incidents, and enforcing safety procedures to protect people and assets.

The role requires strong knowledge of security operations, at least two years’ experience, and the ability to work with supervisors and cross-functional teams. Includes comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Responsabilidades

• Patrols premises to ensure security of property and personnel.

• Inspects buildings and access points for security compliance.
• Directs vehicular traffic and maintains yard safety at DC.
• Assists supervisor in restraining trespassers or violators.
• Supports investigations by gathering facts and conducting surveillance.
• Completes detailed reports of observations and incidents.
• Complies with laws and protects brand reputation.
• Contributes to Asset Protection team goals and shares process improvements.
• Promotes awareness of company policies and procedures.
• Suggests new ideas to enhance job functions.

Position SummaryWorking in the distribution center and retail store environments, the Asset Protection Associate will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the company premises and personnel, interior and exterior of the assigned location, and, as needed, supporting asset protection needs of the retail locations supported by the assigned distribution center.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Secures premises and personnel by patrolling propertyPrevents losses and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstancesConfronts violators of policy and procedures in a professional manner to redirect behaviorInspects buildings and access pointsAssists Supervisor in restraining trespassers or other violatorsManages vehicular traffic by directing driversMaintains authorized DC truck yard traffic utilizing company tools and proceduresSupports investigations, conducting surveillances and gathering of factsCompletes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activitiesMaintains organization's stability and brand reputation by complying with legal requirementsContributes to Inventory/Asset Protection team effort by accomplishing results as neededPromotes awareness of company policies, procedures and directivesSubmits new and innovative ideas to enhance job functions and company best practicesProvide assistance across business groups as neededQualificationsEducation/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two or more years of related security experience. Proven knowledge of security operations and procedures. Prior security experience in retail or distribution centers is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook. Report Writing experience is preferred.Position Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.Compensation: $14.85 - $19.30Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.
