Role Description

The Asset Protection Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Philadelphia. This role focuses on supporting store leadership in reducing loss, protecting company assets, and promoting a safe environment for customers and team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring store activity, observing for potential theft or policy violations, and using CCTV systems to identify and document incidents. The associate will help investigate inventory shortages, support organized retail crime prevention efforts, and partner with store and regional teams to implement loss prevention strategies. The role also involves completing incident reports, maintaining accurate records, and communicating findings and recommendations to management.

Qualifications

• Asset protection and loss prevention skills, including Retail Loss Prevention and Organized Retail Crime Prevention.
• Physical security experience, with knowledge of store security procedures and best practices in Physical Security.
• Technical proficiency in security systems, including effective use of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and related monitoring tools.
• Strong interpersonal and Communication skills to collaborate with store teams, law enforcement partners, and leadership.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Basic understanding of retail operations, inventory processes, and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, and observe the sales floor for extended periods, and respond calmly in high-stress situations.
• Prior experience in retail asset protection, security, or law enforcement is beneficial; high school diploma or equivalent required, additional certification in loss prevention is a plus.
