Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. seeks an Analyst in Commercial Asset Optimization to identify opportunities to improve asset utilization across NGL, Refined Products, Petrochemical, Industrial Gas, and related infrastructure.

You will work with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Scheduling, and Project Development teams to evaluate asset performance and build business cases that drive value. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling capability, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in midstream, refining, petrochemical, energy, analytics, or related industries.
• Strong analytical and financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze asset utilization, throughput, inventory, and market data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop economic evaluations, sensitivity analyses, and financial models for projects.
• Support data gathering with Operations, Commercial, Engineering, and Scheduling teams.
• Assist in developing and prioritizing capital and non-capital optimization initiatives.
• Create dashboards and performance reports to support data-driven decisions.
• Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations to improve asset value.
