Job summary

Concord Capital in Chicago seeks an Asset Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of its real estate portfolio. You will manage budgets, lender and insurer interactions, and act as the on-site ownership representative.

You’ll collaborate with property managers, review renewals, and lead asset management meetings, driving portfolio performance and coordinating capex with leasing and construction teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in real estate with property/asset management experience.
• Strong financial analysis, underwriting models, and portfolio reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for multiple stakeholders.
• On-site ownership representation and independent judgment.
• Proficient with AppFolio software.

Responsibilities

• Finalize annual property-level budgets with property managers.
• Review renewal pricing and sign-off on incoming tenants.
• Coach property managers on notices and tenant negotiations.
• Lead monthly Asset Management meetings and review dashboards.
• Coordinate integrated meetings between construction, leasing, and management to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Support the CEO in monthly investor updates.
• On-site lender visits, insurance inspections, and capex walkthroughs.
• Maintain stabilized-property site visit cadence and ensure operability.
