Job summary

Hanwha Energy USA in Houston seeks an Asset Manager to oversee commercial contracts and financial performance for power-generation assets. The role coordinates internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize value. You will manage P&L, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses, ensure compliance with PPAs and leases, and support hedging, O&M decisions.

Travel to asset sites is required. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong communication, analytical skills, and experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in asset management, procurement, or energy management.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools including Power BI.
• Experience with natural gas power plants.
• Building teams for natural gas power plants.

Responsibilities

• Manages/improves P&L for generating assets, optimizing market interactions.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, financial analyses, modeling, ad hoc reports.
• Ensures compliance with PPAs, leases, financings, regulations.
• Supports strategic decisions (hedging, O&M).
• Coordinates cross-team; maintains stakeholder relationships.
• Manage new natural gas power plant assets.
