A privately held real estate investment and management company is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily properties. This role blends financial oversight, operational monitoring, and strategic planning to ensure strong property performance and long-term value growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and analyze property financial performance, including quarterly reviews, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide strategic recommendations on financial, operational, and capital planning matters
• Oversee third-party property managers to ensure occupancy, collections, and expense control targets are met
• Monitor compliance with deal-specific requirements and reporting deadlines
• Participate in annual budget creation and review to align with portfolio goals
• Review annual audits and prepare related reports for leadership and stakeholders
• Coordinate communications with investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies
• Conduct property inspections to assess condition, performance, and capital needs
• Support refinancing, acquisitions, and other major capital events
• Lead onboarding for newly acquired or developed properties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, real estate, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in asset management, property management, acquisitions/dispositions, or related real estate role
• Familiarity with HUD, Tax Credit, and conventional financing programs a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with MS Project or Smartsheet a plus
• Ability to travel for property site visits and inspections

Compensation for this position goes up to $125,000 + bonus.
