Our Asset Management team is looking for a talented Asset Manager to support our fast-growing company. Overview
This position will work in our Asset Management team and play a vital role in overseeing the financial and commercial obligations of Adapture Renewables’ portfolio of assets across the U.S., ensuring financial covenants are fulfilled and contractual commitments are met. The Asset Manager will coordinate closely with the Project Finance and Accounting teams and serve as a primary interface with project financing partners, PPA offtakers, and other counterparties. The role requires a high degree of intuition and judgment, balancing corporate and project interests. The candidate may be based remotely in the U.S., with periodic travel to our Bay Area office and other locations.
Core Responsibilities
- Track PPA obligations and ensure cross-functional compliance
- Document compliance obligations in the asset management platform
- Collaborate with Development, Project Management & Engineering, and Project Finance teams to onboard new assets and capture obligations
- Maintain and refine Budget Forecast tracking models for financed portfolios
- Lead creation of budget tracking processes as new portfolios are added
- Prepare and submit draw/transfer requests according to finance documents
- Work with Project Finance, Legal, and Accounting to fulfill finance covenants and submit necessary reports
- Communicate with partners to address inquiries and requests
- Coordinate with Accounting to ensure revenue and expenses align with contracts
- Assist with property tax filings
- Improve Asset Management policies and procedures
- Generate financial performance assessments for senior management
- Coordinate with O&M and Finance to highlight issues requiring attention
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, project customers, and landowners
- Manage REC obligations and relationships
- Prepare reports for financing partners, including investor waterfalls and bank payments
- Assist with annual financial audits
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 years of renewable energy asset management experience with a focus on financial and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and understanding of renewable energy finance structures
- Experience transitioning projects from construction to long-term financing is a plus
- Effective communication with financial partners, regulators, utilities, and energy buyers
- Deep understanding of operating contracts and relevant clauses
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads

Compensation
Salary range: $135,000 - $155,000, depending on experience and location.
