Frederick Fox (Los Angeles) is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of 30 affordable housing properties (PSH, LIHTC, HOME, HUD) with a focus on maximizing performance and compliance.

This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits and a discretionary bonus. The role is hybrid with three days in the office and reports to the VP of Asset Management; you will lead coordinating reporting with property management and accounting, and mentor junior staff.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in asset management with a real estate portfolio.
• Strong understanding of LIHTC, HUD and conventional finance programs.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior staff and coordinating with multiple internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage owner/sponsor interests for a portfolio of 30 affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance and maximizing performance.
• Analyze long-term property performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Monitor timely distribution of required reports to external stakeholders.
• Oversee capital accounts and reserve funding for capital expenditures.
• Collaborate with Property Management and Accounting to analyze variances and report findings.
• Assist with comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Act as Team Lead to train and mentor junior staff.

Job Title: Asset Manager

Reports To: VP, Asset Management

Direct Reports: n/a - part of a team of 8

Worksite Type: Hybrid with 3 days in the office

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 + discretionary bonus

Full-time: Permanent position with excellent benefits

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage owner/sponsor interests for a portfolio of 30 affordable housing properties (PSH, LIHTC, HOME, HUD), ensuring compliance and maximizing performance.


• Analyze long-term property performance against projections, identifying trends and informing strategic decisions.


• Monitor and ensure timely distribution of critical reports to meet all external stakeholder requirements.


• Oversee capital accounts and prepared/processed replacement reserve requests to fund planned capital expenditures across the portfolio.


• Collaborate with Property Management and Accounting to analyze material variances, determine key drivers, and effectively report findings to stakeholders/key partners.


• Assist with comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.


• Act as Team Lead to help the VP train and mentor junior staff.
