Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Asset Management Summer Analyst to help maximize portfolio performance through data analysis, budgeting support, and evaluating operating trends across multifamily assets.

You will gain exposure to asset and property management while collaborating with experienced professionals to make data-driven recommendations and complete a capstone project presented to team leaders at the internship's end.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn about real estate investment and asset management.
• Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Foundational Excel and financial modeling skills preferred.
• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in finance, real estate, business, economics, or a related field.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial, operational, and market data to support portfolio performance evaluations.
• Assist in preparing client-facing reports, portfolio reviews, and property performance presentations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across multifamily assets.
• Review revenue, expense, occupancy, and rent trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Conduct market research and competitive analyses to support due diligence and strategic decision-making.
• Assist in evaluating property performance against budgets and key financial benchmarks.
• Partner with asset management and property management teams to support operational and financial initiatives.
• Complete a capstone project and present findings to team leaders at the end of the internship.

Job Description Summary

Additional Compensation

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location. Corporate positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance. Onsite property positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
