Job summary

Brookfield Real Estate in Chicago is offering an Asset Management Intern position supporting our nationwide asset management function across the U.S. retail platform, spanning 95+ regional mall properties.

You will lead a summer project reconciling corporate accounts, assist with materials for stakeholders, and support account analysis, with exposure to Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Argus/Dyna software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in college or university with graduation between Dec 2027 & May 2028 focusing in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Real Estate.
• Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as Argus/Dyna software highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a summer long project consisting of reconciling corporate accounts for a specified portfolio of properties.
• Assist Asset Management team with the preparation of materials for internal key stakeholders in our Legal, Accounting and Property Management teams.
• Assist with account analysis, reconciliations and reporting of tenant and/or property accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.
