Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Asset Management Consultant to support advisory and technical asset management services across water, transportation, energy and infrastructure sectors. You will apply data-driven planning, risk-informed decision-making, and lifecycle management to optimize asset performance and investment decisions.

Based preferably in California but open to candidates nationwide, you will work with multidisciplinary teams on strategy development, maturity assessments, risk frameworks,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, City Planning, Asset Management, Information Technology, Data Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years delivering asset management or infrastructure advisory services as a consultant or staff.
• Experience in water, transportation, energy, facilities or asset-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver asset management projects across water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, energy and other infrastructure sectors.
• Develop asset management strategies, policies, frameworks and KPIs aligned with ISO 55000.
• Support asset investment planning, lifecycle modelling and risk-based prioritization of capex/opex.
• Support asset operations and performance optimization through advisory services and maintenance strategy.
• Assist asset inventory development, data quality and asset registry optimization.
• Analyze asset condition and performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate organizational capability uplift through training, workshops and change management.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to successful project delivery.
• Contribute to business development and growth of Jacobs’ Asset Management capabilities.
